At Edorado, we’re committed to making luxury electric boating as convenient as possible. That’s why we’re happy to share our latest video explaining how effortlessly you can charge the 8S.
We understand that one of the concerns of people considering purchasing an electric boat is the ease of charging electric boats. Rest assured, the Edorado 8S is designed with simplicity in mind. Here’s how you can keep your Edorado 8S powered up:
16 Amp AC Plug
The most common and accessible option. Virtually every marina is equipped with this standard plug, ensuring you can charge your Edorado 8S practically anywhere you dock.
Type 2 Charging
Just like charging your electric car, you can use any Type 2 charging point. This means you can recharge your Edorado 8S at numerous public and private electric vehicle charging stations, integrating seamlessly with your existing routine.
Handy Fact:
You can turn down the amps if the local facilities do not allow charging at 16 amps (for example set it to 8 amps). this can be done with both the type two car plug and the 16 Amp plug!
Type 1 Charging
Even if you don’t have access to marine or EV charging stations, you can still charge the Edorado 8S using a Type 1 plug. This versatile option allows you to connect your boat to a standard household outlet—essentially, you can charge your Edorado 8S right from your kitchen!
Electricity is everywhere, making it incredibly easy to keep your Edorado 8S ready for your next adventure. We hope this video and the information above help ease any concerns about transitioning to an electric boat and highlight the effortless convenience of the Edorado 8S.
