For many boaters, handling in marinas is a common challenge—and for hydrofoil boats, it’s an even bigger concern. Tight spaces, shallow water, and the potential for awkward maneuvers can leave you feeling anything but confident. But with the Edorado 8S, you’ll have complete control, no matter the situation, thanks to its innovative design and advanced handling features.
The Edorado 8S is built to make marina navigation smooth and worry-free:
• Electric Drive System: Precise and responsive control even at low RPM ensures seamless docking and tight turns.
• Twin Drive with 360° Dual Prop Control: The twin drive system features two individually controlled propellers, each capable of rotating 360 degrees. This allows for unmatched maneuverability and precise adjustments in confined spaces.
• Retractable Foil System: The hydrofoils retract completely into the hull, eliminating any worry about foils while docking or navigating shallow areas.
When the foils are retracted, the 8S has an impressive draft of just 45 cm, making it ideal for shallow marinas and close-quarters navigation. These features work together to ensure you can dock, turn, and navigate with ease, all while feeling in complete command.
In our latest video, Edorado founder Godert explains the advanced handling capabilities of the 8S, including its innovative twin drive system with 360° dual prop control. Small clips of the 8S prototype demonstrate how the boat can rotate 360 degrees on the spot, highlighting the precision and control it offers in marina settings.
The Edorado 8S is designed to make every part of your boating experience enjoyable, even in the marina. With the 8S, you’ll always feel confident, capable, and ready to command the water.
